HPA – Cancellation Policy

We understand that circumstances may arise which require the cancellation of the Housing Placement Assistance (HPA) service. This policy sets out the conditions under which cancellations are handled, to ensure clarity and fairness.

1. Cancellation Period

1.1 The cancellation period begins from the date and time of the booking confirmation.

1.2 The specific cancellation terms applicable to your booking will be clearly communicated to you at the time of booking.

2. Cancellation Fees

2.1 Cancellation fees are determined by the timing of the cancellation and any costs already incurred by SHH and/or its service providers.

2.2 The following applies:

a. Cancellations made within 12 hours of booking confirmation: a fee of 10% of the total service cost will be charged. The remaining balance will be refunded.

b. Cancellations made after 12 hours of booking confirmation: no refund will be provided and the full service cost will remain due.

3. Procedure

3.1 Cancellations must be requested via the designated channels communicated during the booking process. For clarity, cancellations by email are preferred, as the time stamp on the email serves as the official reference point.

3.2 A cancellation request is only valid once SHH has confirmed receipt of the request in writing.

4. Refund Process

4.1 Where applicable, refunds will be processed within 7 business days of cancellation confirmation.

4.2 Refunds will be issued to the original payment method, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

5. Modifications and Rescheduling

5.1 If you wish to modify or reschedule your service instead of cancelling, you must contact SHH as soon as possible.

5.2 Modifications and rescheduling requests are subject to availability and may incur additional fees.

6. Force Majeure

6.1 In the event of unforeseen circumstances outside the control of SHH (including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather, or other force majeure events), SHH reserves the right to cancel or reschedule services without liability or penalty.

7. Additional Terms

7.1 This cancellation policy applies to standard HPA bookings. Different terms may apply to special promotions, group bookings, or customised services. These will be communicated at the time of booking.

7.2 The SHH General Terms and Conditions apply to all services and prevail where necessary.
