Relocation Package Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply specifically to the Relocation Package (“Welcome to NL” or similar relocation services) provided by Student Housing Hunter (“SHH”). They form an integral part of the General Terms and Conditions.

1. Scope

1.1 This policy applies exclusively to the Relocation Package services offered by SHH.

1.2 The policy only applies if explicitly agreed in writing between SHH and the Client at the time of booking.

2. Refund Eligibility

2.1 If SHH does not provide a service agreement regarding a listing (or a comparable listing) within 72 hours of the tenant intake form confirmation issued by the housing platform, no fee will be charged and any paid funds will be refunded.

2.2 If the Client has paid the fee and the selected accommodation is rented out within the same 72-hour period by another party, the Client will receive a full refund.

2.3 The Client is eligible for a partial refund of the SHH fee under the following conditions:

  • The Client withdraws within 72 hours after both (i) the start of the Relocation Package booking process, and (ii) signing the SHH service agreement; or

  • The selected accommodation is booked by another party after the 72-hour period has expired.

In both cases, a non-refundable administrative fee of €650 (all taxes included) will be deducted from the SHH fee to cover processing and handling costs.

3. Cancellation Policy

3.1 The Relocation Package service agreement is entered into for a fixed term and is not subject to early termination by the Client.

3.2 If the Client terminates the agreement prematurely for any reason, all remaining monthly service fees for the originally agreed term shall become immediately due and payable.

3.3 Exception: If the Client terminates the current accommodation but rents a new accommodation under a service agreement with SHH, no cancellation fee will apply. The existing service agreement will be transferred to the new accommodation, provided that the total contract period does not extend beyond the originally agreed end date.

4. Force Majeure

4.1 SHH is not liable for any delay, failure, or inability to perform its obligations caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions, or pandemics.

4.2 In such cases, services may be rescheduled or adapted without penalty.

5. Currency

5.1 All fees for the Relocation Package are communicated in euros (EUR) as the default reference currency, as most of our Clients are based in the European Union.

5.2 Payments in other currencies may be accepted upon request.

5.3 Refunds, if applicable, will be made in the original payment currency.

5.4 SHH is not responsible for currency exchange fluctuations or bank transaction fees.

6. Final Provision

6.1 These Relocation Package Terms and Conditions must be read together with the General Terms and Conditions, which apply to all SHH services.
